2026 10th Class Result summary
| Measure | Reported value | How it should be used |
|---|---|---|
| Candidates appeared | 242,192 | The population used for the board-level pass percentage |
| Candidates passed | 168,266 | Reported successful candidates |
| Overall pass rate | 69.48% | Board-level 10th Class result, not a school or district rate |
| Leading score | 1190 out of 1200 | Reported as shared by two candidates |
What does a 69.48% pass rate mean?
The percentage describes the board result as a whole. It does not tell the story of one student, one subject, or one school. Individual marks can be higher or lower for many reasons, so the board average should be used for context rather than comparison.
What students should take from these figures
A result is personal, even when the board publishes one overall percentage. Students who passed still have different strengths and weak subjects. Students who did not get the result they wanted can review the detailed marks, speak to a teacher, and wait for official guidance about the next available process.
