What does 46.51% mean?
It means the board reported a pass percentage of 46.51% for the examination population as a whole. It does not describe every school, subject, or student equally, and it cannot explain why an individual result turned out as it did.
What students and families can do
Check the individual result against the correct roll number before making plans. Students can review their subject marks and discuss next steps with a teacher; families can give them time to take in the result before deciding what support would help.
Use a roll number or the exact Gazette name to check a result. The result-checking guide explains both search methods, and the guides collect more help. The after-result guide for students covers practical next steps.
